Director: Denise Finnerty

Denise
Child Development Associate | Level II Director

Originally from the vibrant island of Trinidad, Denise now proudly calls Tampa home. Her journey from the Caribbean to the United States has been shaped by both personal and professional growth. She is grounded in her roles as a devoted mother of three and a passionate advocate for early childhood development.

With a background that spans Interior Design, Management, Real Estate, and formal studies in Psychology and Business, Denise brings a rare and dynamic blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and compassionate leadership to her work. She holds a Child Development Associate and a Level II Director Credential and is honored to be part of a Gold Seal-recognized program known for its excellence in early learning.

Denise joined Bridges with a heartfelt mission: to help shape the lives of young children and support families in meaningful ways. Her commitment goes beyond the classroom, as she believes in building nurturing environments where both children and educators can thrive.

Outside of her professional life, Denise finds joy in yoga, laughter, the outdoors, and discovering new and creative experiences.

Assistant Director: Bridget Reinoso

Bridget
Child & Family Support Specialist

Bridget brings a heart for service and a passion for community to her role at Bridges. Born and raised in New York, she relocated to Tampa in 2024, carrying with her a wealth of experience in youth mentorship and cross-cultural outreach. Her work began in Brooklyn, where she mentored inner-city youth, and later expanded into impactful missionary work in Los Angeles and Panama. These experiences deepened her dedication to empowering and uplifting young people.

Bridget also has a background in Medical Assisting and Graphic Design, which reflect her unique blend of compassion, creativity, and attention to detail. She approaches her work with warmth, professionalism, and a deep belief in the importance of creating safe, supportive environments where children and families can thrive.

Outside the classroom, Bridget enjoys outdoor runs, city walks, painting, and discovering new cultural cuisines. She is thrilled to be part of the Bridges community and looks forward to growing alongside a team that shares her commitment to building meaningful connections and inspiring lifelong learning.

 

Board Representative: Arleen Demmi-Blanton

Arleen was born and raised in Tampa and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education.

Arleen has been employed with Bridges since 2011 and is thankful to be a part of Our Lord’s work at Bridges.
