When choosing a preschool, it was important to our family to find an environment that would academically prepare our children for the future, but also embrace their childhood creatively and emotionally. After three years at WELC, our daughter transitioned to Kindergarten with a love of learning, essential social skills and a strong academic foundation. Recently, we had a parent-teacher conference with Julie’s Kindergarten teacher. She told us that Julie is doing exceptionally well and is one of the top readers in her class. She actually uses Julie to help some of the other students read. Julie had a perfect score on a reading proficiency test, which she said was a reflection of her outstanding VPK schooling.
